About Me

I am a Swansea based practitioner with a full UK (Clean) driving license and access to a car. I am studying Set Design and Production (BA) Honours at University of Wales Trinity Saint Davids (UWTSD) in Carmarthen. I started university with the goal of making sets and props, but have changed my path to focus on theatre lighting design, costume and model making, all of which have grown in obsession with my love for cinema which I bring through to theatre. My current career focus is in lighting design, as not only do I create stunning atmospheres which set the mood of the play, but it also allows me to analyse, study and dissect the themes, characters and settings of a play, which I then recreate on the stage.

My long term aspiration is to become a film maker and create stories of my own. Working with directors and the art departments will give me the necessary knowledge and know how to achieve this goal. At this point in my career I am currently focusing on the art and tech department, building my career and working on gaining experience.
