Blood Wedding UWTSD – Lighting Designer

September – November 2025

Dir. Duncan Hallis, LX supervisor Dave Roxbough

Blood wedding was a university ran production which we were marked on as part of our Major Project module for our main final year production. I took on the role as lighting designer in this show as it placed a great importance on the lighting design, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work on a show with both contemporary and experimental lighting themes. This was an amazing place and opportunity to be able to learn and develop my lighting knowledge, being surrounded by lectures, a great director and a fantastic LX supervisor, who I all learned an invaluable amount of knowledge and experience from.

Amazing Grace, WAVDA – Stage Crew & General Assistance

July 2025

‘Amazing Grace’ was an opportunity for me to develop my scenic art and prop making skills. I was responsible for painting the rust texture on the staircase, along with sculpting and painting the pickaxes what were used on stage. I then got the opportunity to work as stage crew during shows, and helped during the get-in and get-out.

Georgian House UWTSD – Set Dresser, Camera, Editing

May 2025

Georgian house was a second year module in which we had to construct a run down Georgian era house, fit for a horror film. As the set was split up into two room, I was tasked with the set dressing for the landing area, which entailed researching historically accurate furniture and decorations, which I then had to source, weather, and alter to fit in with the aesthetic of the whole set.

Dragon’s Breath, Walk the Plank – Assistant Lighting Operator

October 2024

Dragon’s Breath was an immersive walk around event at ‘National Botanical Gardens’ which featured pyrotechnic sculptures with characters scattered around the gardens, immersing the audience into the story of the waking dragon. During this event I had the opportunity to do my first out doors event in which I had to set up and program LED lights lining the paths of the audience.
